  • If you wish, you may choose another educational website to do your Thanksgiving research, but you will need to cite your source.  If you do this, you must be certain that it is a reliable source (i.e. not Wikipedia).

  1. Today I learned that Thanksgiving is on every fourth Thursday in November. This year it is on November 22, 2012. In 1621 only half of the pilgrims sailed across in the Mayflower. They were thankful to survive. The pilgrim leader was Governor William Bradford. He organized the first Thanksgiving.

  2. The very first Thanksgiving was on November 1623. It was a official Holiday on 1941. The first pilgrims came on the Mayflower. 42.2 million people have driven 50 miles from home to have Thanksgiving at someone's house. Minnesota is the top maker of turkey.

  3. Thanksgiving is one of the best holidays of the year . It all started back in 1621. It was with the natives. It lasted for 3 days. 90 people were there. It was one of the most biggest dinners in the world .
